High UrgencyWorkSafeBC Report Incomplete
WorkSafeBC rejected the claim because the submitted medical report is missing required clinical information.
Official Description: (285) WorkSafeBC refused - report submiss ion incomplete, required information missing clinical information missing.
How to Fix It
Follow these steps in order to resolve the error.
- Locate the copy of the report (e.g., Form 8, Form 11) that was submitted to WorkSafeBC (WCB) for this claim.
- Ask the physician to review the report and add the missing clinical information. WCB often looks for specific details on diagnosis, mechanism of injury, treatment plan, and objective findings.
- Correct the report and resubmit it directly to WorkSafeBC via their provider portal or by fax. Ensure the WCB claim number is clearly marked on the updated report.
- Once the updated report has been sent to WCB, resubmit the billing claim through Teleplan. Do not add notes about the report in the billing submission itself.
- If the claim is rejected again, contact WorkSafeBC Payment Services directly at 1-888-922-3700 to ask for specific details on what information is still missing from the clinical report.
