  1. Confirm the practitioner's WorkSafeBC registration status. This is a provider issue, not a patient data error.
  2. Verify if the provider has an active WorkSafeBC Payee Number and if they are authorized to provide the specific goods or services being claimed.
  3. If the registration is missing or incorrect, the provider must contact the WorkSafeBC Health Care Provider Information line at 1-800-661-2003 to resolve the authorization or registration issue.
  4. Do not resubmit this claim until you receive confirmation from WorkSafeBC that the provider's account is authorized for the service.
  5. Once authorization is confirmed by WorkSafeBC, resubmit the claim for payment.
