The billed mini tray fee (00010) is not allowed with the associated procedure code.

Official Description: Mini tray fee not applicable.

Follow these steps in order to resolve the error.

Review the claim to identify the primary procedure fee code that was billed alongside the mini tray fee (00010).
Consult the current MSP Payment Schedule. Find the section on tray fees and confirm if the procedure code you billed is on the approved list for mini tray fee reimbursement.
If the procedure is not eligible, this fee is not payable. Write off the balance for fee item 00010. The primary procedure has likely already been paid.
If the procedure code is eligible according to the Payment Schedule, verify that no other tray fees (e.g., 00011) were billed on the same claim for the same encounter.
