Invalid Service Time

The claim requires a service time, but it was either missing or entered incorrectly.

Official Description: Time service was rendered is missing or invalid.

How to Fix It

Follow these steps in order to resolve the error.

  1. Review the rejected claim to identify the specific fee item that requires a time.
  2. Confirm in the patient's chart or the physician's day sheet the exact time the service was rendered.
  3. Enter the time of service in the correct 24-hour format (HHMM). For example, 9:15 AM should be entered as '0915' and 2:30 PM as '1430'.
  4. Ensure you are not using a colon or any other punctuation in the time field.
  5. Resubmit the claim to the Teleplan Data Centre with the corrected time of service.
