The claim for an anesthetic service is missing the required start time and cannot be processed.
Official Description: Please state time anesthetic commenced.
How to Fix It
Follow these steps in order to resolve the error.
- Review the anaesthetist's record or the patient's chart for the exact time the anaesthetic service began.
- Locate the rejected claim in your billing software and find the 'Start Time' or 'Anes Start' field.
- Enter the correct time in 24-hour format (HHMM). For example, 1:30 PM should be entered as 1330.
- Save the changes and resubmit the claim to Teleplan.
