Missing Anesthetic Start Time

The claim for an anesthetic service is missing the required start time and cannot be processed.

Official Description: Please state time anesthetic commenced.

How to Fix It

Follow these steps in order to resolve the error.

  1. Review the anaesthetist's record or the patient's chart for the exact time the anaesthetic service began.
  2. Locate the rejected claim in your billing software and find the 'Start Time' or 'Anes Start' field.
  3. Enter the correct time in 24-hour format (HHMM). For example, 1:30 PM should be entered as 1330.
  4. Save the changes and resubmit the claim to Teleplan.
