Missing Patient Signature

For a 'Pay Patient' claim, MSP needs confirmation that the patient's signature is on file.

How to Fix It

Follow these steps in order to resolve the error.

  1. Locate the original invoice or form the patient paid for this service.
  2. Confirm the patient has signed the document, authorizing the clinic to submit the claim to MSP for the patient's reimbursement.
  3. Resubmit the claim. Ensure the 'Signature on File' indicator is correctly selected in your software for this 'Pay Patient' submission.
  4. If the claim is rejected again for the same reason, contact the Teleplan Data Centre at 604-683-7151 to troubleshoot the submission.
